I was so excited to receive this and when I received it I did exactly what the instructions said but the resulting film was flawed it should have given me 10 frames and no matter what I did, this picture remained blank

Even after turning on the maximum brightness on my phone, the brightness and colors of the printed photos are very inconsistent. For some reason all photos have a black border at the top and sometimes at the edge, even when I align it perfectly so that no border is visible. Black slime came out halfway and got very dirty. This works as advertised and is a great alternative when you can't justify expensive Liplay hybrid cameras or wireless printers. I really like it for photo sharing and scrapbooking. Follow all the advice from previous reviews: keep the shutter button pressed, brighter/higher contrast images work best. Realizing that this is an inexpensive, beautiful printer, I still expected more. Everything worked as expected with a few hiccups. Some images turned black. At first I thought it was the tape, but it got worse and worse until it was gone. The black images became images that don't come out at all. I've tried so hard to make this thing work. I have a feeling mine might be defective because once the foil is in place you have to turn the cog to push the cover out of the plastic foil which then installs the meter. However, once you take a picture and turn the knob to eject the film, you have to turn it so hard that the counter scrolls 3-4 times before the film comes out. Following the instructions, I loaded the film and made sure the yellow mark lined up with the window on the back of the printer.
