When opening the box, many cables and parts are a little intimidating, but the installation process is clearly described in the instructions. Installation took about an hour and a half. I installed the recorder in a 2012 Tacoma, I removed some paneling to route the cable through the back panel and power supply to keep the setup clean. The recorder works very well, the picture quality is very good. I set the loop recording to record continuously for several minutes before writing about it. The drivers in my area (southwestern Pennsylvania) are particularly aggressive and this gives me some confidence that if an incident occurs I can report it and get compensation.
