This is NOT a night vision camera

This is absolutely not a night vision camera and should not depend on the car's security system. At night, the camera delivers a completely black image, even in street lighting.

You need to go to settings and scan the barcode to get the right app.

Would definitely be 5* but the instructions should be printed larger and the barcode scanning part for the app should be more obvious. The technicians who do these things too much assume that the not-so-technical know these things. I can install it myself, but please assume I'm not a setup tech. The app is one of the most important parts of using to watch on your phone. If you're just looking for an app in the App Store, it won't work properly. I'm just talking!

Good installation instructions, some work but worth it.

When opening the box, many cables and parts are a little intimidating, but the installation process is clearly described in the instructions. Installation took about an hour and a half. I installed the recorder in a 2012 Tacoma, I removed some paneling to route the cable through the back panel and power supply to keep the setup clean. The recorder works very well, the picture quality is very good. I set the loop recording to record continuously for several minutes before writing about it. The…

I had just bought a new car (for myself) and wanted to make sure I was covered in case something happened on the road. Since the instructions were not detailed, I wasn't sure how to set it up in my car at first. I contacted the seller and was very happy with the help they provided. They helped me set up the DVR in a timely and thorough manner. They even gave me a set of devices for free. Thanks very much! Great DVR, great picture (front and back) and dual recording is top notch. Easy setup and installation. There was even enough cable for the backup camera for my wife's long cab Cadillac Escalade. Also works great with Android devices and speed limit detection is accurate. Get a DVR - you won't regret your purchase!

This DVR has everything you need. Rear camera, GPS, simple menu to navigate and easy installation. I've had other DVRs with fewer features that cost the same. GPS is convenient because the time and date do not need to be set and are always updated. The video quality is excellent, so I can easily distinguish between license plates and pedestrians in the video day and night. Installation was easy.
