It was a real bear. It came with a good quality screwdriver, the parts were labeled and the picture instructions were big enough to see (there are no words in the instructions, just pictures). But the orientation of the parts was unclear, leading to a lot of disassembly and reassembly to get things in the right places. Pay attention to the number of holes in the pieces - if there are extra holes, it might not be the right way to put them in! Also, do not fully tighten the screws all at once. You'll need to adjust things a bit when the other pieces are together so you can pull all the pieces together so they line up. The finished product is amazing! I got it as a sewing table and it's the perfect height and space. I am very happy that I have shelves to store sewing machine parts and other parts for easy access. Very good table, looks more expensive than its price.
