Mookie Swingball for Sports

Don't believe any of the negative reviews. That's great! We've been playing in the family room since Christmas. It will collapse if you go insane. But if you can play without passion, it will not fall. My son took tennis lessons last spring. This allows him to practice hand-eye coordination and rock back and forth. Play alone or with someone else, we'll have fun either way. The son uses a paddle in each hand and practices left and right. Parts of the rod are made of metal, the rest is made of plastic. All strong, thick and durable. Storage in the carry case is ideal. The portability and the internal/external factor are excellent. If you leave it outside I'm sure it won't last as long or be as good. Unfortunately, if you add sand or water to weigh the base, you lose portability, which was a key reason for my choosing this product. etc. These things will only happen if you get a little out of control (act crazy). You have to be very rude to screw things up. 10 year olds and 4 year olds play every day. I've been playing since I was 10 years old. It's easy to hit him (competition) and get too boisterous, but if you calm down he won't fall. My son is playing with it as I write this review. When playing indoors, remember that the ball must be fully extended to avoid hitting anything. And just in case it falls into the house, make sure it doesn't hit anything on the way down. Great gift. son loves it. Absolutely recommendable for (reasonable) children. * see comment
