Plug in replacement

I bought this after my 1995 F150 passenger side window started to slide when I was going up and ended up not going up at all. This was sold as a replacement and I can confirm that is the case. A good friend of mine who fixes car locks helped me with this. He is used to removing panels and other car trim. I'm glad it would be a full time project for me. We were completely done in about an hour. It was a perfect fit, all holes lined up perfectly. It works just as well or even better than the original. I should note that this thing is attached with rivets. You have to drill out the rivets to remove the old block and then attach the new block with new rivets. He's got a rivet gun, so that's not a problem. It would slow me down in the cold, or I'd use nuts and bolts, but there's not much room for that. I don't think a rivet gun is something every DIY enthusiast has lying around. It's just as fast or faster than the original, sounds a little different, more durable, maybe better gears than the original plastic gears that fail. I'm going to buy one for the driver's side now so I'll be ready if it fails on this 25 year old truck.
