This is the first sonic cleaner I've ever owned so I had my eye on it for quite a while before I bought it. There were no reviews at the time of purchase but I decided to take a chance and so far so good. . My crystals that I glued onto my glasses were still intact which was a relief and there was no damage to the plastic sunglasses. The next thing I tried was makeup brushes. I just added water and some ivory liquid soap and it really did a great job. Then I tried sterling silver with water and ivory but it didn't tarnish. So I bought a BLITZ jewelry cleaner, tried again and got mixed results. Some earrings tarnished perfectly, others didn't. I haven't tried other decorations yet, but I'm sure that the combination will work. A word of warning: this thing is huge! It takes up quite a bit of counter space, so measure before you buy. Luckily I found a place for myself under the counter. However, I like the size because it fits my husband's large sunglasses and large aviator goggles very well. Nowadays it's a bonus if something even comes with an owner's manual, let alone a detailed one. Luckily it did and it was very helpful. Although this vacuum cleaner comes with a removable plastic basket, the stainless steel part is not removable. Therefore, to clean it, you have to unplug the device and take it to the sink, pour out the dirty water, and then clean it. Due to its size this is quite difficult so I wish the stainless steel part could be removed. all this and I want it. I've had the watch for so long I can't remember if it's waterproof in any way, so I don't want to risk submerging it completely in water. Overall I am satisfied with this cleaner and can recommend it. Just in case you're wondering, I paid full Revain price for it and the seller gave me no incentive.
