This product works fine for me, as you noticed here, it's fat32 formatted, but when I connected it to my windows 7 desktop, it got stuck on NTFS system when installing reformatted :( but don't worry all that matters is the quality and as long as this little hard drive works GREAT there is one thing: I have an Incredisonic Media Player. When I plug it into the USB port the LED stays on, when the media player is off I left the hard drive in my hand while the media player was off and I felt the hard drive spinning, but when I turn on the media player I can feel the hard drive spinning as it should, it just confuses me why the LED stays on when my media player is off Other than that, nothing to complain about that's why I'm giving it 4 stars
