This duvet cover is lovely, soft, easy to wash and machine dry but it fit's a queen size mattress instead of king.I'm not sure what is going on with the size of bedding lately but every time I order a queen size comforter or duvet and cover for my queen size bed it doesn't cover the mattress. I decided to order a king size duvet (previous purchase) and king size cover to see if it would fit and cover my Queen size bed and it did, perfectly.Is it defective? Are manufacturers making the bedding smaller? Or is it that mattresses come in so many sizes now ranging from around 9-inches up to 16-inches or more that it's impossible to find bedding that fits unless you try it out. Will it fit your mattress? Hard to say-the king fits my queen mattress and covers the sides perfectly. As for the king size mattress, it doesn't fit.
