Love it! suitable for children's rooms

This is not my first experience with this brand. I bought 3 different bags, a dice case and this toy box. I like you very much! They are very durable and absolutely adorable! In real life they are even more beautiful. Now about the toy chest. I just bought this for my 1 year old for Christmas. I have four kids so we definitely got our fair share of toy boxes. We had several wooden ones and the lids were a big problem. They kept falling on their heads or breaking their little fingers. Turns out the lids were broken because the kids got scared of them after getting hit a few times, so they bounced back and let the lid fall free. We tried plastic without success and even opted for a rubber case for a while. Children don't pack their toys neatly in a box, at least not mine. Some of the heavier toys have been thrown too many times or thrown up and the plastic has cracked. This toy box seems to have solved those problems for us. It's canvas so the lid won't hurt if it falls into small pieces and they certainly won't crack it. It's a really good size and thicker than I thought it would be. It's like boxes for cubes that fold in and you unfold to put a hard piece on the floor, if you get my meaning. I saw my little friend drive up to him and also leaned waaayyyyy over the side to get the toy he's looking for and we had no problem with that. I saw a few reviews complaining that the lid doesn't have velcro so there's no way to hold it when it's really full. I think you could easily add a piece of Velcro if you'd like, but I honestly don't understand the issue. It doesn't matter whether the container is made of wood, plastic, fabric or steel. If it is too full, the lid will not close. Here's how it works. If you try to press the lid on it when it's full, the sides stick out, giving you nowhere to go. That's not a deal breaker for me. When it gets too crowded (as is common with toy boxes), I just pop the lid open a bit. All of this is at least contained. If it gets too crowded I'll invest in a second one. Let's face it, they're cheap in the toy box world. By Christmas morning we used a large cardboard box to store all the treasures. A few things to look out for in my photos. Thanks to my flash they look a bit white in the picture. In fact, it's more of a natural yellowish-brown canvas color. I also had him ride a giraffe in one shot so you can get an idea of his size. I am satisfied and can only recommend it.
