Not for me Styling

I bought this lipstick as my first one after reading all the good reviews. I think I should preface this by saying that I'm East Asian with very straight but bouncy and unruly hair that I wear with a side parting/slick back. cream soda). Application: The water-based lipstick is very easy to apply. Gel-like consistency, does not pull on the hair, is easy to rinse out. Wet application gives it a shiny wet look. Dry application adds some shine, but not too much. Longevity: Hold is great initially but then loses its hold fairly quickly (whether applied to wet or dry hair), sometimes in as little as an hour. It loses its volume and the front of my hair plumps/crimps towards my forehead with little to no activity. Styling: The first application is easy. Restyling is easy if you have access to water. As this is a traditional water based lipstick it will set like a gel once it dries/sets so you can't run your fingers over it. Doing this without water is useless, but your hand will be a little sticky from the product. Lots of others rave about this product, so maybe I just have freaky hair. Personally, I've switched to traditional oil-based lipsticks and unorthodox water-based lipsticks because they suit me better. But if you are just starting out in the world of lipsticks; This product might be worth trying as many others will attest that it works great for them.TL;DR: Just doesn't work for me.
