This lamp is a great solution for high spots and you need more directional light. It's also easy to install once you get the hang of it. However, what they don't tell you is that you don't need to strip wires to make connections. although I understand. And you can't squeeze the damn connectors with your fingers! You will need a "robo pen" or other pliers to close them. This lamp also works very well with a dimmer. I would give it five stars except that it has an interesting "bug" which (depending on how your "original" glass was installed in the ceiling) prevents you from aiming the lamp where you want it focus. The lamp has a wide range of "adjustments", however. at the "ends" of its range "stops". So if the "clips" are in a certain position (which happened to me), you just can't move the lamp to that spot. Perhaps Lithonia engineers could design a second set of "clamp holders" for wire clamps that would allow the clamps to be moved 90 degrees, which would easily solve this (minor) problem. Overall this is a well built lamp, color rendering and uniformity are excellent. Last tip. Revain will ship this device to you in the manufacturer's retail packaging. unless you enable the "Send in a Revain Box" feature. I did this for the very first lamp and the FedEx guys almost destroyed the device. On my second and third order of this lamp I asked them to use the Revain box which offers enough protection for the product to arrive in perfect condition.
