It's very difficult to get accurate shots, especially when I haven't hung all my lights. The pictures below show a test segment I hung before I did the rest of the house. I have a two story house with a high porch in front. Putting up the Christmas lights every year was a huge undertaking. I found this long string of lights that could span the entire perimeter of my house and figured I'd stick them under the dash and leave them on all year round. I have found that they can be stapled (I use a brand name cordless stapler) where the light is visible under the bezel. I was able to do this thanks to the strength of the LED housing. The LEDs are encased in heat shrink tubing strong enough to be held in place by a clamp. This should also provide good water resistance. Since the electrical wiring is under the eaves, it must be protected from UV damage. The description says nothing about the wiring being UV resistant, but in direct sunlight the wiring is virtually unprotected. Even though they're not big lights, I'm very happy with how bright they are. This single strand has saved me tons of money and if my plan works in pendant lights many times a year.
