Light and cute. I don't know why, but we do experience some heat transfer with them, especially with hot dishes that release a lot of steam. We have another set in red from another seller and have never had this problem. They are better for storing cold foods like ice cream or cereal; or it's also better to compress items in and out of the microwave. It's probably good for little hands to hold onto things. Otherwise the quality seems to be sufficient. Good tailoring, good uniform shape, bowls fit well.
