It tried to connect for three days. It found my wireless router and said it was "connected" but then told me it was trying to connect. He told me exactly what the instructions said but didn't connect. It has been trying to "find" the service or devices for over 24 hours. I've tried from multiple devices with ALWAYS the same response. The instructions say you should call Kidde so I'm dd. There I got a lot of "huh?", some "so what are you saying?" and a few "really?" He then told me to talk to someone who was familiar with this product. He took my name and phone number and said he would call me back in a few minutes. That was about 10,080 minutes ago. This guy must be very hard to find. I gave up and asked for a refund as this thing isn't working only to find out the seller charges a restocking fee. Several people have commented that they don't understand why there are so many negative comments. Well it must be because you have 2 out of 1000 that work without problems.
