I ordered this for my colleague who has the latest MacBook Air (A1932 13 inch). The item originally arrived with a dent in the screen so I sent it back and ordered another one. The second arrived in perfect condition, so I'm guessing the first was defective and unlucky. My colleague was sitting somewhere and I walked past her and wondered why she was looking at a dark screen. Then I realized that this privacy screen did the job! I spoke to her about it and she was pleasantly surprised at how effective it is. She can set the brightness to full and it still works. She said she has to be right in front of the screen to see everything, but it does the job. Note on returns: the seller doesn't offer a way to send a replacement so we had to refund and send the faulty one back and order a new one. We didn't have time to wait so we ordered a new one before the return was processed. Great product and serves it's purpose but 4 stars because we received a defective one first.
