The photo of this organizer shows toothbrushes and other items resting on the frame of the organizer. It looks like there is a transparent base that supports the stored items. No, it's just a frame. Toothbrushes are on the countertop. I have an organizer. I place a rolled up paper towel on the base to collect the drips and keep the stored items in the organizer so everything can be moved around without first removing each item - the whole point of using an organizer. When exchanging, I choose a plastic organizer.
