I used them on a cruise to Mexico where I had ocean trips and needed to carry my passports and keep them safe. The neck accessory was used daily to carry my phone and room key. I couldn't use my phone at all because of the plastic, but that didn't bother me too much because I don't use my phone very much and you're not going to get much service on a cruise anyway. It appeared to be waterproof. I put my tie in my fanny pack when I was snorkeling in the sea and an hour later I had no more water in the sea 😁. Some water had gotten into the belt pouch itself, but I closed the passports and they were fine. I have a problem with the belt. It broke in the middle of the zipline! Luckily I hid it in my leggings. So I tied it as tight as I could and got on with my day. There is no other way to fix this other than sewing. But after that it fell apart several times. It was a nuisance and a nuisance when I needed it to be carefree. It is not fixed. I had no problem wearing the neck. I started returning it but I used it and it was half perfect. If it's for light use and lounging by the pool, this could be for you.
