Hooray, I've got a fever again!
Well it's a fan motor resistor so it gets 5 stars because it works lol. I installed this in my 04.5 Duramax Silverado (Ex Cab) and it fits as mine uses 2 bolts instead of 4. You will need a 7mm and an extension to remove the skid plate piece under the fan motor (2 7mm screws) then a small screwdriver to remove the 2 electrical connectors then hold 2 8mm screws this resistance in place. Use some Electric Die Grease on the joints before putting it back together and you'll be good! If you are unsure if it is your resistance 99.9999% of the time if your heat is running high and nothing else then this should fix your problem.
