Original review June 13, 2021 One of my favorite problems with this smartwatch is that almost nobody uses the standard USB connector. This means numerous cables in my house, car and truck can charge this watch without including a single dedicated cable. Lose the cable and you could throw your watch. There is no excuse. Many smartphones, even waterproof ones, have had USB ports for years. Now that I've cleared that up. First Impression: The watch strap is rubberized, soft, easy to put on and take off, and one of the most comfortable straps I have ever used or own. However, shortly after putting it on, rubber sweat forms under the bracelet. I downloaded the GloryFit app from the App Store. I noticed that the same app is being used on a different watch. - The instructions for setting up the app on my Android phone didn't match my phone so I had to rummage around to set it up properly. - After syncing I was able to change the watch face. The display is bright and clear. - Swipe up on the main watch face to get to the shortcuts interface which contains notifications - Swipe down on the main watch face to see settings, brightness and information - Swipe from left to right on the main watch face to view data, motion, news. Swipe right to left on the main watch face to see steps, heart rate, sleep and weather. This smartwatch has multiple training modes, but I have yet to find one that counts paddle strokes in a kayak. My wife would love this feature. BPM can't count mine because I've had atrial fibrillation for 21 years. I'm sure it works fine. This is one of the parameters that this watch measures well. It looks like the weather screen is not showing our local conditions. It currently deviates by more than four degrees Fahrenheit. This data must be accessible and accurate. Blood pressure monitoring is a little hidden, but it's there. My last reading was 113/71 compared to my medical cuff monitor which read 128/82. Again, these measurements cannot be expected to be accurate due to limitations in perception. Blood oxygen shows 99% while my pulse oximeter shows 97%. I would say that this smartwatch is on par with most others. They're good for a general estimate in almost any category that can be useful. But of course you can't expect them to replace dedicated gauges. Yes, the clock controls the music on my phone. But if I want to listen to a track for a while, then go to the next track I need to wake up, swipe right then up to reveal the music controls. The problem is that the clock goes back to the face and I have to look for the music control function next time. I want him to stay on screen. This is a nice smartwatch at a reasonable price. Charges quickly and doesn't drain the battery.
