First, as usual, the item arrived quickly and in good condition. The plastic case is exactly what you would expect for the price. It will keep your device safe and clean, but it's not very durable or particularly pretty. Product looks great, markings are clear, dial rotates well but is a bit sticky so don't worry about hitting it. and to keep it moving during use. The plastic case has a spare back with a part to screw the device to objects. I have used this device to calibrate a table saw blade for both the table saw and the fence. That worked great. I prefer analog gauges over digital gauges as I've found I only use them once or twice a year and don't want to worry about dead batteries. Would go again without hesitation.
