I needed a ring of light to record videos and photos. This is a great article for these purposes. This is a ring light on a table stand. It was packaged very nicely, each piece in an individual plastic box. All parts are metal except for the Bluetooth remote control and the part that holds the phone firmly on the stand. It includes two phone holders for those who want to use the stand without the ring light and just as a tripod. It was very easy to assemble. Put the pieces together and you have a ring light stand! You will need an adapter as it requires an outlet. The cord is quite long so don't worry about needing an extension cord unless it's a very long distance. I liked the on-cord light controls, 3 light mode settings, an up/down button and an on/off button. A Bluetooth remote button for the shutter button is included, which comes in handy when you want to move away from your phone/tripod. I liked it very much. Very strong, but be careful not to drop the ring lamp (because it can break under force), tighten each screw well and it will hold perfectly. The tripod legs need to be adjusted slightly before setting up the phone as they are articulated and do not have a locking system. Great starting ring light for perfect bomb shots!
