Save $$$ and get Go-Tcha instead

I lost my Go-Tcha after a year away from Pokémon Go. I saw this while looking for a replacement and based on the reviews I thought I was buying a top quality product. If I just sit at home, then I find this product ok. The catch is slow, but it works. It's practically unusable while driving, which is what I bought it for. If he tries to catch a Pokémon, even if it's very slow, he'll just give up the attempt (not sure if he ate a Poké Ball in the process), won't show the attempt in the log, and try to catch a closer Pokémon . The same goes for PokeStops. It will try and then stop the action to try to catch the next Pokemon instead. I know I'm going pretty slow because I can rotate them manually. I thought maybe it would be a change in game until I found my go-tcha. After all this time, it plugged right in and worked exactly the same as it did a year ago, while at the same time costing half as much. Also, Catchamon is a lot bigger than I expected. Its bulkiness makes it inconvenient to carry around compared to Go-tcha. I admit it made it harder to lose, so that's a plus I guess. Eventually I figured using batteries would be better as I found I had to keep charging my Go-tcha because I never seemed to have a charger. with me. Unfortunately, the Catchamon eats up the batteries and had to be replaced in less than a month, adding significantly to the cost of this device. I use my PC's Bluetooth mouse 8 hours a day and only had to change the batteries once or twice a year, so I was surprised at how quickly this thing used them up. I ended up only buying 3 packs of chargers for my $7 Go-Tcha so I always have a charger with me. The acquisition and maintenance costs are much lower.
