These candles turned out great. I love burning candles around the house but it gets expensive so I started buying these flickering fake candles and then I got too lazy to get up and turn them on then off and that solved the problem. Use the remote control to turn on, set the timer, turn off and it's much easier. I also love that if you set the timer for 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours the candles will light up at exactly the same time the next day and stay on for the same amount of time until you press the normal off button. I would recommend. You need a lot of batteries so I bought rechargeable batteries and in 2 months I just had to change the batteries in 2 candles and I use them about 3 times a week for at least 3-5 hours a day.
