Review on Hazard Warning Tape - JVCC HZ 8 by Tom Beland

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Yes, it is a warning tape.

There isn't much to say about this volume. This is a yellow and black striped tape designed to stick to smooth surfaces. The only negative I found is that the tape stretches a bit when you pull it off the roll. So if you remove it from the roll and apply it immediately, the tape will slowly decrease from its original density before unwinding. This will lift and release the belt; especially if the surface is not entirely smooth. In my case it happened on a clean smooth surface. So roll it out and let it hang a bit before applying. This fixed the problem and the tape hasn't appeared since.

Pros
  • Media/Backing: Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) film. Adhesive: synthetic rubber. Thickness: 6 mil (backing, adhesive). Adhesion: 13.7 ounces per inch (to stainless steel test panel).
Cons
  • So far, so good
