Just what I needed to get full bands on my receiver. I used my existing coaxial cable at my house. Since I no longer use cable TV, it's best to use existing lines so I don't have to lay new lines. The kit includes an adapter approximately 18 inches long to connect the receiver's external antenna to a coaxial cable. It has a jack for coax so you don't need an adapter to switch from plug to coax. I didn't use any mounting hardware, but you can use the four mounting holes to screw it to the wall of your home. or pole mount with included hardware. I'm installing next to an existing outdoor area where the cable used to go into the house. It took about 10 minutes. Now perfect signal.
