This additional mineral filter can be added to the outlet of any reverse osmosis (RO) system. In my case I added it after my APEC 6 stage reverse osmosis system. You will need a short piece of 1/4" hose to install the filter. Appropriate rectangular fittings are supplied with the filter and must be threaded into the ends of the filter until they seat over the o-rings provided. Since I needed an extra 1 /4" hoses from the APEC system, that was no problem. Otherwise suitable tubes are available from APEC at Revain or contact APEC directly. Water after installing the filter has a certain mineral taste. The filter also increases the total dissolved solids (TDS) in the water, so don't be surprised if you're measuring water with a TDS meter.
