Description of Enhanced Mineral Re-Mineralization for Upgraded Reverse Osmosis

Contents 57 mineral elements. Maifan Stone has function of two-way regulation of trace elements (microelements) and constant in water to reach the best balance of human body needed. Maifan Stone balls can improve biological activity of the water with dissolved oxygen concentration. It enables the water degraded. Its replacement can remove harmful heavy metals, so the mineralized water produced by Maifan Stone is called "cell detergent". Maifan Stone filter has a adsorption. Maifan Stone has a adsorption ability to heavy metal ions and toxin in the water. This filter does NOT change water pH.

A must for a home reverse osmosis system.

Water tastes much better. I installed this plus the iSpring mineral filter and the water feels good, tastes a little weird at first, be sure to degrade, discard at least 3 whole tanks before drinking.

Water Improvement Filter

This filter met my expectations and did what it promised. I can almost taste the minerals in the water and this water has really improved my entire kefir growing process! I highly recommend it.

Water tastes like spring water

Water tastes like spring water. I love it and it also filters heavy metals. I will be installing more on my system so I will have two reverse osmosis systems built in. I no longer buy mineral water.

Water is much tastier. I think it's time to turn it off.

Water tastes much better. I think it's time to switch to that soon. I'm glad I bought it. The World Health Organization warns against remineralizing reverse osmosis water. That's why I bought it, but better tasting water is worth it too

Truly exceptional - Sanitary ware for kitchen and bathroom

In my opinion this is a great filter with added minerals. I have an Apec RO 90 series and added it to the system as a final filter. The taste has improved a lot! No kidding - really! Yes, the taste of the reverse osmosis water has improved. I'll buy more when it runs out. The filter also includes 1/4" threaded connectors, so you only need 1/4" tubing to connect everything. Finally, I know it's working as the total dissolved solids went from 6 to 16.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Best for raising pH in kitchen and bathroom faucets

Installation and function of this was ok (I had to order larger faucets but I knew this beforehand and everything worked fine), I put it in line in my reverse osmosis system, between the tank and the nozzle. The problem was that this caused the pH of my water to exceed 9.5. The product description clearly states that it does NOT change the pH, but it is a 100x deviation from my normal reverse osmosis water (which is 7.4 - measured with a vivosun meter). Then I started looking into the maifan or

Will increase your pH for water filtration and softening

my reverse osmosis water smells like rotten eggs

Now the water from my reverse osmosis tap smells like rotten eggs and tastes bad. Since I drink a lot of water every day, I was concerned that the reverse osmosis filter would block any minerals along with sodium that the water softener might have added. Before the filter was installed I only added about 25% spring water to the jugs I keep in the fridge but it really hurt so I figured this was the way to go. I had no problems with reverse osmosis water, then I installed this mineralization…

Easy way to add minerals to reverse osmosis water

This additional mineral filter can be added to the outlet of any reverse osmosis (RO) system. In my case I added it after my APEC 6 stage reverse osmosis system. You will need a short piece of 1/4" hose to install the filter. Appropriate rectangular fittings are supplied with the filter and must be threaded into the ends of the filter until they seat over the o-rings provided. Since I needed an extra 1 /4" hoses from the APEC system, that was no problem. Otherwise suitable tubes are available…
