Review on Enhanced Mineral Re-Mineralization for Upgraded Reverse Osmosis by James Pfettscher

Installation and operation of this was fine (I had to order larger fittings but I knew about it beforehand and everything worked fine) I said it in line with my reverse osmosis system, between the tank and the nozzle. The problem was that this caused the pH of my water to exceed 9.5. The product description clearly states that it does NOT change the pH, but it is a 100x deviation from my normal reverse osmosis water (which is 7.4 - measured with a vivosun meter). Then I started investigating the Maifan or Maifanshi stone and while I couldn't find anything negative about it, I couldn't find anything specific about WHAT exactly it could do to my water either. My goal was to remineralize my reverse osmosis water and it MIGHT work, but to be honest I have no idea what's going on. I couldn't in good conscience feed my family with it, so I removed the filter.
