They were easy to install, there was enough wiring to hide everything in the fairing around the console. The lights are very bright at maximum brightness, but not bright enough to be seen in an all-black interior during the day (but not many lights). Due to my own idiocy I didn't check if my cigarette lighter adapter turns off after turning off the car so I have to turn the light on and off manually every time. Luckily, this is very easy thanks to the backlight switch built into the adapter. Of all the interior light kits I've reviewed, this one seems to be the best quality and the easiest to install. No complaints here.
