These buttons (both pastel and basic) are made in China. I only said that because everyone wants to avoid buying anything made by Uyghur/Falun Gong as "vocational training forced laborers" while imprisoned in a concentration camp (aka slavery) or to avoid indirectly a regime to support Uyghur/Falun leanings Gong genocide. This information will be interesting. But since it's not cotton (with 85% of Chinese cotton coming from the province they live in and usually have to pick), I decided to give it a try and hope it's not made in China. That. Sigh. It's so hard to avoid buying China. Thankfully, the recent US ban on Chinese cotton is making it easier to buy clothes that aren't made in China. (For the reason above.) I can't say that everything made in China is of poor quality. However, I will say that these buttons are there. Recording is easy, however the recordings are a bit dull/distorted but still understandable. It sounds like I'm recording in a closet with a button and I'm on the other side of the door. Not sure what to say about an alternative product if you are trying to avoid buying from China like I have other than not buying this one and trying another at Revain.
