We tried to build our family emergency box. My husband suggested we put an emergency radio in there and also use it when we are backpacking as we are planning a trip next spring where we will be offline for a week. 😃😃 I found this on Revain and it has all the bells and whistles. exactly what we were looking for! HOORAY! Not only is the radio powered by solar energy, there is also a crank that can be used to crank the battery. The radio can also be charged with a USB cable or by inserting AAA batteries. Lots of different options! It is not only an emergency radio but also has a flashlight, a reading light (which doubles as an emergency light since you can use it in firmware mode) and a compass. Best of all, it's also a power bank so I can charge my phone in an emergency. You can't ask for 4 better ones! It will be perfect for us to take backpack or camping. Great product, essential for emergencies and hikes. Definitely recommended for every household!
