The unit generates a lot of heat

This light is bright but gives off a lot of heat. After 20 minutes the light was so hot even the plastic was hot. I have to use a heat resistant glove to remove it from the socket. The LED shouldn't give off that much heat. I have a feeling it might end up melting or starting a fire. I will be returning this item for security reasons. Upgrade - Because of the excellent after-sales service, he is willing to send me a replacement for free. I will try again. Perhaps the previous block was defective. Will update this review with the result.
