Review on Leupold Quick Release Binocular Harness by Mick Ohlrogge

just what I wanted most in bags and cases

I use this great strap to carry my Nikon Monarch 5 binoculars. It only took a few minutes to attach the loops to the Monarchs and tighten the strap and then attach the binoculars to the strap clips. The binoculars stay close to my chest and can be immediately raised for viewing. The eyecup cover snaps onto the right loop so you always have it handy. I usually carry a DSLR with a heavy telephoto lens, as well as a backpack and a tripod. This suspension protects the binoculars from impact while being ready for use when I need them. I can hold the tele mount with both hands and lift the binoculars with the other. Ideal! So much freedom and comfort. I like it. I looked at other trailers and this one had the best reviews. Now that I have it I understand why. This is a quality product with a thoughtful design. Sometimes you get what you paid for. That being said, I feel obligated to mention on MY behalf that this pendant was a little bulky for my wife. She is 5-8 years old and weighs 125 pounds, she has a slim build but she is a bit awkward because the straps don't fit her breasts comfortably. I know, I know. Nothing to fault. However, any woman built the same way will likely feel just as uncomfortable around him. She was again carrying her Prostaff with a wide camera strap over her shoulder. On the other shoulder she carries her DSLR and telephoto lens. She's jealous of how well this pendant works on me.
