Works well with my Canon IS binoculars

The Canon 12x36 IS II binoculars I have are bulky binoculars that come with an unsuitable neck strap that the Leupold strap works great with . The quick release buckles are one of the best features since this is a tether after all, and they help to quickly unwrap the nylon connection points (which are easy to attach without leaving a trace and just thread through the very small holes in the carrying loops) without having to completely remove the line. The harness is sewn well: not flimsy, and…

Pros
  • Even the old one understands
Cons
  • Almost everything is there

This is really consistent with what other people have stated in the one star reviews. I gave it two stars as I used it before it broke. My problem was similar to others. The light cord (hanging clamp) holding the binoculars broke unexpectedly (while I was above the water) after very light use. I've looked at the cable and it's really just a matter of using the wrong materials. NEVER would a high quality optics company use such a mediocre piece of material to attach a high quality (and…

Comfortable but choose another brand. These are not well made at all.

It's beautiful and comfortable to wear. Any binoculars or camera will do. However, there are several complaints about it: 1. Impossible to find additional connection straps with buckles to connect additional binoculars or cameras. It would be great if Leupold sold additional connectors with buckles so I could have a gimbal and switch between cameras, binoculars, etc.2. One of my buckle straps was sewn on incorrectly and the strap came out of the slot and now it's all useless because I can't…

It's easy to quickly raise the binoculars to catch.

My birding stamina has increased dramatically since purchasing this trailer. I'm no longer tempted to stop because my neck hurts because of heavy binoculars hanging from it, or because my chest starts to hurt because my binoculars bounce gently but constantly on my chest. . The only strain on my neck is the inevitable danger of sticking my head out to see the birds overhead. This strap also fits my binoculars better on my body so I don't bounce around while hiking. It's easy for me to quickly…

just what I wanted most in bags and cases

I use this great strap to carry my Nikon Monarch 5 binoculars. It only took a few minutes to attach the loops to the Monarchs and tighten the strap and then attach the binoculars to the strap clips. The binoculars stay close to my chest and can be immediately raised for viewing. The eyecup cover snaps onto the right loop so you always have it handy. I usually carry a DSLR with a heavy telephoto lens, as well as a backpack and a tripod. This suspension protects the binoculars from impact while…

Pros
  • Great for a small home

  • Has flaws

WARNING, this strap puts your binoculars at risk.

As reported by at least eight (8) other reviewers of this harness, I have learned (the hard way) that the two loops used to attach your binoculars to this harness are too weak , to carry it safely Medium/heavy binoculars (I have Vanguard Endeavor ED, 8x42 binoculars). Attached are two photos to give you a good idea of where this suspension has failed on two (2) separate occasions. The binocular attachment loops are not properly attached to the leather or vinyl strap, which connects to a plastic
