Review on Leupold Quick Release Binocular Harness by Bradley Wacks

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's easy to quickly raise the binoculars to catch.

My birding stamina has increased dramatically since purchasing this trailer. I'm no longer tempted to stop because my neck hurts because of heavy binoculars hanging from it, or because my chest starts to hurt because my binoculars bounce gently but constantly on my chest. . The only strain on my neck is the inevitable danger of sticking my head out to see the birds overhead. This strap also fits my binoculars better on my body so I don't bounce around while hiking. It's easy for me to quickly raise my binoculars to catch a bird, maybe even easier than with a harness. It's also easy to set up. I recently noticed that after using it for a long time while on holiday, the leather part is lying high on the back, almost on the neck. Weight distribution is still much better than with the neck strap, but I've seen others with the straps centered between the shoulder blades and would have preferred that. The only other downside is that it's not easy to swap out the binoculars when using this strap. If I take a friend who doesn't watch birds, I go back to my collar to just transfer it. To remove the binoculars from the carrying strap, you must unclip them. Not much, just not that fast. Overall I would recommend this strap especially if you already have a binocular neck strap. If you catch a bird regularly, it's worth it!
