Waste of money - aquarium pumps and filters
I thought this was a reaction to not buying a new filter. These things are expensive. Once I got that, I put it in my current filter. When I plug it in, the impeller sheds a white piece. Installation instructions should be included. Anyway, I feel like it was a waste of money. To update. Got a replacement and it worked flawlessly for 6 months. Without warning it broke again. And I'm not sure why. Now all I have to do is buy a new filter.
