I ordered it in a smaller size. I tested this on a 4 or 5 ounce piece of leather. The die is sharp. It cuts through the leather I've used with no problem. I will add that I used my press when checking how sharp the punch was. The only reason I rated this 4 stars is because after cutting the skin I had trouble getting the skin out of the die. The hole in the die is small, so you'll need to find something small enough to fit through the hole and pop the skin off the cutter. Otherwise, I'm happy with the cute design. Lots of crafting possibilities with this design.
