In general, this tablecloth is just what I need when I have two small children and people come. As for stains, things like spaghetti sauce will leave a small stain, if you use the right cleaning products you can remove it, but the stain will end up fading the design a bit, which is normal. Honestly because with the grey/white design you can't see it as well as other colors but other than that it's what I need and I love it.
