I use these clips to hold the edges of curtains in place. I'm not a fan of glasses, so I shorten the curtains with an iron and braid. Hm. While these clips seem like a great and useful tool, they are sharp and very easy to snag on fabric if I'm not very careful when attaching or detaching. I used them with some curtains and a thick heavy curtain fabric. Yes, they do their job, but at what cost? Well I've removed 4 of the 12 panels so far, being as careful as possible. I almost cut my finger on this DIY project - surprisingly no blood has been shed yet, but the potential is there. I will continue to use them instead of the hassle of pinning with straight pins, but I wouldn't do it. I recommend them to everyone. The quality is pretty low. The numbers are faded and difficult to read (and I'm not to blame for age-related vision problems). And forget the centimeters. These clips only show a quarter of an inch. Save money and choose the best quality!
