Solid to extend desktop to multiple screens

I spent a lot of time reading portable monitor reviews and decided to buy this one on my first try. I actually bought two as my job requires at least three displays. In my research, I wanted to make sure I was buying monitors that would extend my laptop's screen, not just duplicate it. That led me to this product. One of the predominant flaws in the reviews concerned the screen flickering, which eventually caused the screen to dim. This actually happened to me the first day I set it up. One monitor behaved exactly as some people had reported in previous reviews. I've changed ports, restarted my laptop, poked around in settings - all to no avail. So I locked my laptop screen and left. After a while I came back and both monitors were working fine. It looks like the graphics card needed time to adjust, which it did. Both monitors have been working great since the first launch. I can expand my desktop to both and change the order in which they appear. For the price, this is a worthwhile investment, especially for those who travel and need multiple displays throughout the day. They store well, are protected by built in lids and are remarkably stable when placed on built in lid stands. Very happy with this purchase.
