I've been using this product for 5 years until the day finally came - I've got coffee on spilled on my laptop. I started removing all visible blobs as soon as possible. Most of the liquid ended up in the keyboard cover, but understand: before I could clean it, the liquid somehow slid under the keyboard and, worse, surface tension underneath caused it to spread. So instead of just splashing into a corner of my keyboard, the keyboard cover spread the spilled liquid all over the keyboard of my laptop. I would say it made my keyboard worse than better. The same thing happened with the laptop case: the liquid got into the case and spilled onto the bottom of the laptop. It is currently powered off and placed upside down to dry to prevent damage. The laptop is probably broken.TDLR; This product spills liquid onto the MacBook Pro keyboard and speakers. Don't buy this.
