I was changing the tires on my trailer when I found a set of bearings that were bad (3500 lb axle). I would like some Timken -Ordered bearings and cages but money was tight they are made in Taiwan but actually look pretty decent everything fitted perfectly and after a 3000 mile round trip with my 5000 lb jeep on a trailer they caused no problems .I have ordered 4 sets and will be replacing all the bearings in the near future. For the price you can't beat them.*Update* I just loaded my trailer up for another 3000 mile round trip jeep I always have Haven't replaced all the bearings yet, just the one I found when I was changing the tire.About 7/8ths of the way one of the bearings failed.Luckily we got to the big city of Omaha, which had several parts depots. The stock was n Not easy when I disassembled everything, there was very little left. However, the failed bearing set turned out to be a Shoreline set I installed about 7,000 miles ago. I use Bearing Buddies and regularly lubricate them with Royal Purple lube. I also oiled them before the trip. The other 3 original bearings survived the journey without any problems. I ended up ordering a new set of bearings. This time, however, I ordered a quality set of Timken bearings in place of those bearings. The bearing sets I ordered were "Set3" and "Set17". These kits consist of a bearing and a ring, so there is no need to order them separately.
