Review on STARPOINT LR Wireless Doorbell Chime With Expandable Add-On Receiver Plugin - Long Range Multi-Unit Alert System, White by Delos Montano

I ordered 3 of these and the waterproof button to replace a malfunctioning wireless doorbell in my father's house. He has 3 floors and is a bit hard of hearing so he needed one for each floor. His malfunctioning unit had issues with range and water getting into the button.I would've ordered the Base Starter Kit, but then I would've had two two non-waterproof buttons. Thanks to the member that already asked the question about just every thing separately instead of ordering the base kit and adding extras. Programming was pretty easy.Pros: Incredibly small and lightweight. I was amazed that the box was so light. These units don't put a lot of stress on your outlet like others. Easy to program. Reasonably loud. Range seems good.Cons. The tones from the speaker are not crystal clear, most sound like they are being played on a keyboard synthesizer from the 80's. My father wanted the Westminster chimes because that's what his old unit had. This unit has the tone, but it "skips" most of the time. It's strange, like it repeats part of one of the notes (always the same note). All three units do it about 4 out of 5 times, but not all at the same time. Sometimes only 1 or 2 of the units skip and the others do not. It's weird. Cycling through all of the chimes takes some time. Not a dealbreaker since I wouldn't do this often, but it's still tedious.
