I used this cable to connect my Verizon modem/router to my high speed B/G/N/AC router. I pay Verizon the extra money to get 80 MBS up and down and was never able to get it over the standard WiFi signal from their router. So I bought my new high speed B/G/N/AC router. I also wanted to find it a reasonable distance from the Verizon router. That's why I bought this cable as it is CAT 7 to connect two. The high-speed router is not a modem, so I use a Verizon modem/router for this function. So after I got everything connected and set up my high speed router, I run a speed test. I have 80 MBS Download and 72 MBS Download. Needless to say I'm happy. Based on that experience I would guess that the cable is not a limiter. It was a Verizon wireless modem/router connection. I like this cable because it's flat. I make it much flatter than standard round cable. As long as it lasts, I'm very happy.
