If you connect this monitor to a computer with a cable, you will probably love this monitor. The picture is decent and the screen size for productivity is second to none. But if you plan on switching between two computers and/or using the split screen/PBP feature, do yourself a favor and stay away. The input select controls on this monitor will drive you insane at times. If you keep switching the input to automatic mode, it will intermittently get stuck on a blank screen with no indication of which input it's currently connected to. You might think that you can use manual input selection and choose the input yourself. Not so. An input cannot be explicitly selected. Even in manual mode, you can only switch to the next input manually. So you have to alternate all 4 inputs including the ones you might not use (like USB1 and USB2). And it takes a long time for him to understand that there is no signal and allow him to switch to the next input. Sometimes it just got stuck on a black screen no matter what and you had to unplug and plug the cable back in. There is also no consistency in using the buttons to select an input. When something is displayed on the monitor, you need to use the leftmost source button to toggle. But if the monitor doesn't show anything, then this button doesn't do anything and you have to use the joystick. More PBP input selection issues. It doesn't remember your previous selection. So once you've adjusted DisplayPort to the left and HDMI to the right, you'll have to repeat this selection almost every time you switch between using PBP mode inputs in normal (non-PBP) mode at some point. The user interface that controls the monitor doesn't seem to have been thought through to the end. It is also buggy and freezes from time to time as I mentioned above. Samsung doesn't offer a firmware download for this monitor on their website, so you won't have a chance to fix some of these issues in the future. I want to return this monitor while I still can. 08/22/2021 I downgraded my rating to 2 stars. After months of struggling, I finally got tired of struggling with the horrible controls and buggy firmware on this monitor and ordered an external KVM display port switch. Almost daily lately the monitor has been freezing when switching inputs, and I've had to periodically unplug the power cord to reset it. Hopefully, with a separate KVM switch, I never have to press any of the monitor's buttons again. I will never buy a Samsung monitor again.
