Review on Bluetooth Adapter DDSKY Steering Controller by Christopher Isaac

I really want to love this item. It seemed like it would revolutionize listening to music while riding a motorcycle. The ability to pause music or even skip a track right with my fingertips? It sounded amazing. When this thing works it's pretty amazing, unfortunately it doesn't happen very often. I have to restart my phone almost every time I try to connect to this device, and while I know it goes into "sleep mode" after it's idle, it doesn't last very long. After only a few minutes of driving I tried using this and found it was off. Other times, the music stops on its own, or generally doesn't perform well with delays and the like. If you're so lazy and want the gaudy thing on your steering wheel, maybe it works better. For what seems like a more practical application on a motorcycle without being able to constantly pull your phone out of your pocket and check the connection, this thing is very disappointing as it is extremely intermittent in its connection. Also, the sync button is tiny as others have mentioned, it's accessible but would require something very small on hand for it to work. So if you're traveling or doing something else with this thing, you might run into problems if it needs to be re-synced for whatever reason. 5 out of 5 for looks (having developed my own method of fitting it to my bars) 2 out of 5 for functionality/consistency Will probably go back as frustrating having this thing on my bars and just wanting it right work, it's painful!
