Asics has been my brand since I came across a treadmill with rear camera at Jack Rabbit and saw some bumps in my walk/running pattern. I've visited all the major domestic and foreign brands in Midtown Manhattan and tried most of the well-known brands. None of them were happy with comfort and support as I was walking/running about 120 blocks a day at the time. I only have Asics left. I go hiking with these kids in the mountains of Central America, rough terrain and they endure where they lost the soles of branded boots.
