I was nervous that this wouldn't work for my application based on previous comments, but it worked. I have 1-TX through 3-RX (see images for part numbers) running across 2 unmanaged Netgear 5 port switches. Everything was installed with category 6a shielded cables. They are used to carry the signal to the large televisions in our church sanctuary. Installation was nothing more than plugging it in and turning it on. No setting is mentioned. It's a dedicated network for this with no other traffic, so I can't tell if they will work on an existing network. The picture seems sharp with no issues even though I'm only running it at 1080p. The main problem I face. in is the sound delay, it is almost a full second. This wouldn't be a problem if you played audio directly on your TV. For me, the sound comes directly from the video source via analog. I have 2 ideas how to fix this: 1. Put an audio extractor on the output of the Roland V-40HD I'm using and hope I can get enough delay in the V-40HD.2 settings . Buy another RX, insert it into the audio extractor and use a dummy connection at the output of the audio extractor. This is still a work in progress and I will provide an update when I complete the solution. ADVANTAGES: Plug and play. Mounting brackets included Great picture Cons: Delayed sound (when receiving sound from source) Slightly warm Power adapter on larger side.
