We have replaced the notification system which only had a tone and a smaller call button. This system had a large (but not bulky) button for my 95 year old grandmother to easily find and press despite her arthritic hands. The ability to change the audio and have two separate receivers was a nice bonus. We can now have family members on different floors to know when help is needed. A good volume control and a wide range of tones will save you from the Pavlovian reaction to a constantly ringing annoying tone. We had no issues with range or reliability at all. Also comes with stickers in case you want to install warning buttons in places like the bed or bathroom. We were very satisfied and would buy them again if needed.
